  1. Great job on that. Looks like it could break pretty easy.
  2. Nice cutting Kevin. I can see where it would be slow cutting. Does look pretty fragile.
  3. Nice inlay. I have to try and get back to inlay. I did a couple of pieces but then I stopped.
  4. Hi guys and gals, just finished this today. This is for my Grandson who just joined the Navy. I want to thank Wayne and Bob for doing the pattern for me. I had the choice of either one. I did Wayne's and took a little bit of Bob's. Thanks again guys. Ralph.
  5. Thanks Charley, I did do that for one of my pics, but one of them I want longer that legal paper size. I know when acrobat reader pops up I'm able to print in poster and print two pager to get my length. I just can't seem to get that program to come up all the time/.
  6. Kevin, I tried that to but on the Mac there's no print button that shows up.
  7. Karl, I tried that to. When I increase that way it will only print the middle part and not the two ends.
  8. Thanks Kevin, I'll check that site out.
  9. Thanks guys. Wayne, I was able to convert it to a pdf in photo shop but it still comes up with no poster option. I was able to bring it up once and was able to print it out bigger but I can't remember how I did it. Tough to get old. Can't remember anything. LOL.
  10. Hi everyone. I have a weird question. When I try to print out certain patterns like word art where I want to make it a little bigger, I end up getting this dialog box that comes up when I'm ready to print. There's no where there to change it to poster. How do I get acrobat reader to come up all the time when I want to print something, which has the options of poster and other options. My printer is a Canon Muti pass MX922 and I'm using a Mac. Certain one's will open up in acrobat but not all.
  11. I like all of those Iggy. I love the way you stained the wood part on the bass.
  12. Nice job Kris. I wish I knew how to make patterns. You pattern makers are amazing.
  13. Looks good Pete.Did you have any trouble using a #1 blade. Did you get any wandering with that blade. I seem to have trouble with thinner blades.
  14. That looks great Dick. Nice choice of wood to.
  15. Looks good to me Dave. I can't use spirals either. You didn't seem to have a problem there from the looks of it.
  16. Give it a try Les. Not to hard to do. Just go slow when cutting them. I used a # 7 Pegas on these. Probably could of used a # 9 to.
  17. Hi Wayne Have a request for you. I love the one you did for me with Weaver. My grandson just joined the Navy and I was wondering if you could do a word art sign for me with the main word (U.S. NAVY) and the script RYAN LIBRETTO. Thanks, Ralph.

  18. Just finished these up yesterday. Made out of cedar and there about 7 inches long and 1 1/2 high. These are Steve Good patterns. I'm giving one to my son in - law who's a retired Marine. He doesn't know he's getting it so he should be surprised when he gets it. The Air Force one is for me.
  19. Hi Keith. hope all is well with you. I was talking to Marg on the forum and she posted a picture of a Christmas bell with the holly on top with names that she did and she said to ask you if you could do some for me. I want to make some for my Grandkids for Christmas. Let me know if you can do it for me. No problem if you can't. Thanks Ralph.

I figures it out. I opened them up in photo shop and cropped them one at a time and made them one inch bigger. They look good. they were 3 1/2 before and now there 4 1/2. A little easier to cut. Thanks again Keith.

no problem, the only other way I could have made the name bigger would be to cut out the cross bar and put the name diagonally which would give it more room. (unless she has a shorter nickname you use ) Glad to be of help Ralph, enjoy your cutting, I look forward to seeing them when finished. I use a Red water based stain for the berries and a green water based stain for the leaves then seal and lacquer it for a nice finish.

Thanks Keith, I have them all resized and ready to cut. Thanks for the tip on the painting. I was going to use craft paint. I decide when I'm ready. I know Marg used the paint pens.

  20. Another great piece Al;ex. I think I will have to get that one. Is this something that might be able to be stacked cut. Seeing all that cutting, I would like to get more than one out of it.
  21. Those look great Marg. I love the painting on them to. Another ornament I can do for my Grandkids for Christmas. I try and do one a year for them. Is there a pattern for them or is that something you have to order to get the names in there.
