  1. Here's my go at it
  2. Thanks! I figured that was coming, at one time he was trying to sell all his patterns I believe.
  3. So I've been out of the scroll saw game for a year or so, I used to buy patterns from Charles Dearing but I've searched for him and found nothing, is he still around and making patterns? TIA!
  4. I used something like that font to make a box for a customer.
  5. I had to, "get up, stand up" and take another look! Those are great!
  6. I would definitely buy one, but I bet shipping would cost as much as it would the saw. I'm in Kansas!
  7. This is a great piece! Is the pattern available to buy?
  8. That's awesome! Great work.
  9. Hello Montserrat, I have a question about your screen name. What does it mean, a person or place? The reason I ask is, I got an order on Etsy for a nameplate with that word and a Minion. The person that ordered it asked if they could be shipped to the Dominican Republic. Just curious as to what it means.
  10. You did great! I really like the way you burnt it.
  11. I made mine a little different and maybe a little simpler. I just slide the ring in the slot. Cut a slot in one ring to get it thru the other.
  12. I have arthritis in both my hips, which has caused them both to collapse. My right hip has been bad for about 15 years and my left for about a year. 24/7 pain, so standing at the saw makes no difference for me.
  13. I bought a pack to try a couple weeks ago and in Overland Park Kansas they are $4.99 a pack.
  14. I use Inkscape 4.8 to make most of my patterns, and just found a newer version, 0.92. Does anyone use the new version? Are there any more benefits over the 4.8 version?
  15. I did that pattern a few years ago also, and I also don't remember the owner or where I got it.
  16. I myself would like to see it. I've been wanting to cut some of Charles Dearings nude patterns, but not sure what they would look like in wood.
  17. I just went and checked out their page. In the "about us" section, she tells of just her and her husband runs the co. He has a full time job and she takes care of the kiddos, doesn't seem like they should have a business where people order things!
  18. I bought a pack the other day myself from WC to try out. They cost a little more at, $4.99 a pack, but I tried them on 3/4" BB and the cut like a champ! They cut straight, didn't have to push the stock at an angle, pushed straight in, which was nice! I will be buying more of them!
  19. I agree that the New spirals are aggressive, but have never used any other type to know the difference.
  20. Thanks for the opinions! I have used the New spiral blades many times, cutting portraits. I was looking at the spirals on Wooden Teddy bear and the New spirals are supposed to have teeth on both sides of the blade, and twisted. I haven't used any other type of spiral, so I was wondering if they were just as good.
  21. Spectacular! I love the cutting of the tree in the foreground.
  22. I was looking at spiral blades on the Wooden Teddy Bear site, what are the differences between the FD NEW spiral blades, FD spiral blades and the FD spiral reverse blades? Is one better than the other? Which one would you purchase?
  23. Thanks for the comments. It's just printed, not cut. I made it in GIMP, just playin around with the program.
  24. I've been playing around with GIMP, and made this banner for my website.
  25. No picture!
