  1. Love the nativity scene! What blade did you use?
  2. One thing about Lesley's customer service. I emailed them wanting suggestions on a blade recommendation for the steel I cut. There answer was look at the chart. My reply was the chart didn't say "hey James by this blade" Never got a reply to that.

  4. Just ordered mine the other day from Lesley's patterns they carry Flying Dutchman & pegas blades.

  6. Also I use copper/acid wash for the rust patina and tru blue gun bluing for some of my pieces.
  7. 18 ga cr steel,plastic cutting blades I got at lowes lolYesterday I ordered a dozen each of aluminum cutting and jewelers blades from Lesley's ,the Flying Dutchman blades I think?!...so I have 4 dozen blades coming to experiment with. The blades I was using would take 3 just to cut out the goat, can't wait to see how the new blades do! If yall have any recommendations just let me know. Thanks.

  12. This place is great! It's helping me with my shop withdraws till the pin is removed from my hand.

  15. im gonna try the food coloring n alcohol. The acrylic paint in water is a method I've used a lot , but for some reason white doesn't do well for me.., Thanks for posting!

  17. Cutting 18ga steel it's opposite with me, cutting is sloooooow! Prep is the easy!
  18. I started out making bird houses and feeders, but a lady wanted me tooo make yard art for her store. Strange how once I got a scroll saw my imagination went crazy...... I've sold about 6 of the sunflowers.
  19. Right now I'm using the harbor freight scroll saw on a tilted stand I made it's pretty good but I will graduate too a dewalt before long.
