  1. This company deserves a pat on the back from me. Last week I ordered some clocks from them. I received them in two or three days. Two of the clocks had gold bezels and I wanted black. I took a picture of the order and sent them an email and explained to them that I really wanted the black bezel clocks. I also told them that I forgot to order a few things and that I would keep and pay for the ones they sent, order what I forgot and order two more clocks with black bezels if they would pay for the shipping. I got an email next morning stating apologizing and stated that two black bezel clocks were in the mail. I received them in two days. They sure won my business.
  2. That came out great. I think my wife would take it wrong if I cut one for her.
  3. Those came out super Melanie!
  4. Looks great Denny! I've missed seeing you lately.....was wondering where you've been.
  5. Looks great Marg! I very seldom where a dust mask but working with MDF I sure do.
  6. Those are sure cute hot rods!
  7. I love all the different ideas you guys have shared. Thanks soooooooooooo much.
  8. I must admit....some days I get pretty smelly. I try to keep one in my inventory for craft shows. I really don't keep track of how long it takes me to make something............If I am doing inlaid boxes I may do 12 tops before I start completing them. That Superman box I would guess takes me about 4 hours.
  9. Kevin, That is exactly why I own a Hegner. When I was in the market I would have had to wait a month for one..I had a Hegner in 3 days. I really like the saw.
  10. I've got her working so I can afford to spend more time in my shop.
  11. Setting my angle for inlays may take me a bit of time to fine tune. It is usually about 1.5 - 2 degrees. I can see where a 90 degree stop might be handy to reset my blade back to 90.
  12. Wayne, The word "cauls" was a new one for me. I thought for sure you had made a spelling error so I had to Google it. There's a different idea for sure. Thanks.
  13. Very nice pattern and cutting.
  14. Beautiful wood..........nice job cutting.
  15. Great job!
  16. Super job Ralph. Are you going to put any finish on it?
  17. Beautiful pattern and cutting.
  18. I always struggle trying to clamp up the cylinders for a project like this. The minute I tighten my clamps the pieces loose alignment and slide around. Do you have any tricks on a project like this?
  19. I thought about a Seyco but I do not like the fact that the tilt mechanism is left off on it. I can't see any advantage of leaving it off other than it made it cheaper to make.Ray has definitely got a great reputation for first class customer service. I hear everyone bragging on the Pegas blade clamps so that was another factor in my decision.
  20. I purchased an EX21 in December from Amazon. I don't know if it was damaged in shipping or is was defective. I messed with it for about three weeks and finally returned it. Pre ordered my Pegas yesterday. Hope it goes better. Glad I have a Hegner that just keeps on chugging away. It is a great dependable saw but I want to have two saws. Nice to have a saw you can top feed for big projects. When doing inlay work it is nice to leave one at an angle. I preordered mine at D&D. Hope we are both pleased with them.
  21. Super job Melanie! They came out great.
  22. I agree.......Built a new shop this past fall. I had a local company install a mini split. Love it so far except for the fact that I can't set the temp below 62.................so I leave it at 62 24/7. I do have to blow the dust out of the wall unit about every other day.
  23. Les, You and Don did a great job! You sure did some nice straight cutting.
  24. Those came out great.
  25. That is soo cool. It is always great to see something different and unique.
