Many thanks! This happens in different ways. Pictures from a calendar, I always covered with transparent acrylic matte spray varnish. There's a relatively loose paper, it is necessary to the hardening by varnish. I glued my patterns of figurals by scoth tape or 3M spray adhesive. When I delete patterns then unreinforced top layer of paper could peel off. Also, there are problems with large sheets, printed on a printer in the print compartment. There are not used to water resistant inks, which can sometimes be blurred by wet hands. There I also use a lacquer. The best thing about my job is photographic paper for digital printing, usually its size is no more than 12 x 16 ". But it is strong to delamination or sweaty fingers. It is easy for me to remove the remnants of spray adhesive or scoth tape from paper surface by using a swab with gasoline-solvent (White Spirit) without damage to the paint.

Ufologists say that the kidnapping of domestic and wild animals flying saucers is happening in different parts of the world almost constantly, and there is ample evidence of this. Hollywood tells a lot about it! ¡No pasarán! - They shall not pass! - I decided. To fight the aliens stood courageous cowboys and terrestrial dinosaurs (probably of Jurassic Park). Accurate shot knocked one UFO and the other trying to eat a T-Rex. To ensure order put a road sign "UFO movement is prohibited." 183 items, size about 8 * 12 "

Thank you, woodduck! Roly, I use a spray adhesive from 3M â„–77. Hallo Marg! Ideas are born long and hard. First I look at the picture, afterwards some ideas that relate to this are come to me . From these thoughts creates a plot of the puzzle, sometimes it is almost a story in pictures or a wish. Sometimes ideas come immediately, sometimes not. So, I am pondering puzzle, I'm working on now, with the new year, and in May I started to cut. Sometimes the idea comes at once, then quickly finds subjects for the figures. I use images from various sources: -I draw by pencil , - Describes the main lines of the photos, - Google's use of the same (in this puzzle) Here for example, in the 1 and 2 photo I I've used image of my clients cats in the details of the puzzle, then - the frame of the movie is also turned into a pattern. The last is my own pencil drawing:

Thank you for your feedback! Paul, I have not heard about the sale or purchase by patterns of puzzles. Apparently, everyone is trying to come up with something new on their own. I think that the purchase makes sense only when the scroller is taking his first steps. But our own experience to be more interesting. Before working on my first puzzles, I intended to make copies of other masters. But I refused to do that allowed me to find my brand, well-known among a narrow circle of Russian fans of puzzles solutions.

The my client bought the next picture from the artist from Russia . I increased the size of the pattern and repeat everything again: It was difficult to determine the outline of the puzzle. It does not match the pictire, because I do not want to make a smooth edge heart, but I wanted to make the edge of the curved pieces, which would complicate the assembly of the puzzle. So I started again from the middle, and then extended to the edges of the cutout. Size about 12*12, 190 parts.

This pair of puzzles was made in 2013. I show its together, because the first one was a test of my skills before cutting the second. For the first puzzle, I used a picture of Hollie Sierra " The Mermaid". I came up with the cutting pattern and draw it on my computer, then I printed out the pattern for the whole puzzle. Then I began to cut from the middle of that pattern, becouse paper was fixed by scotch on the edges of the plywood. Size about 8 * 10, 120 parts

Alphonse Mucha was a famous painter of the Czech in the early 20th century. Most of his works were combined in small series. In particular, there are several series "Seasons", consisting of "Winter", "Spring", "Summer", "Autumn". This is one of them. It was my first puzzle, created at the end of 2012. I remember it with a smile. Then I took the first steps and tried plywood taste. As I remember, for sticking pictures of calendar, I used white glue and paper too quickly adheres and covered with bubbles. I had to tear it very quickly, to wet with water and apply again more successfully. After that I bought a spray glue. Since it is fewer errors. Here I used a horrible construction plywood that had a long time to sand. Later, I found a good smooth plywood for subsequent work. Dimensions 52 * 22cm (20.8 * 8.8), 369 parts.

It's very simple. I want to do things that I like and be with his family. Now I get up at 6 am and going from one end of town to the other, where the company is headquartered in which I work. Evening meals back. If I'm lucky that during the day I will lose 2 hours on the road and spend 8.5 hours in the office. And if the road will jam? Free time will be very little. The second point - the quality of life. Now the terrible food. In Soviet times, we had a healthy meal, and now repugnant to us driven products from Europe and Asia. They are stored for a long time and look beautiful. But they are not edible - in this food has no taste and health benefits. Unfortunately, in recent years in Russia brought many kinds of seeds and livestock, which are devoid of natural properties. Often this genetically modified organisms, which do not have a predictable effect on human health. It is very good that the sanctions have been imposed against Russia. We are pleased that the flow of food from the West greatly reduced. It will revive our agriculture. So that I think is very important to grow food for themselves and spend a lot of time with my wife and children in our own land. And sometimes out of boredom can be a bit of work for some variety.I have a piece of land of about 3 acres, on which I will build homestead for my family. Now I prepare documentation. It's a long time ... Among Americans, I can say the name Justus Walker. He is a very popular person in Russia, famous as "Happy Milkman". He moved to Siberia and set up his farm. As for sanctions, the only trouble for me was this: I would like a few years ago to buy a good scrollsaw, DeWalt or Excalibur. Then I waited for Black Friday, but the ruble has fallen dramatically against dollar. But now my payment for an apartment in the mortgage bought was decreased relatively, remaining at the old amount. But my salary increases! So I can shell make new scrollsaw to myself, ordering laser cutting pieces of sheet metal, similar like to Hawk. It is so easy for designer!

Brian, your fish is superb. I think you know the intricacies of copyright in the US is much better than I do. So I just believe you.

Thanks, Scott!

Wonderful fish! You made a pattern from a photo? Great idea. I'm interested in how she looks like a fish, and saw a lot of different pictures. There has been a lot of different colors and shapes of color. Is copyright the photographer restrict you? After all, this is a completely new creation. God forbid, someone will register the rights to a photo of the Sun - then children can not draw it without fear of invasion of lawyers.

This term has come to us from the west, and is written in Russian exactly as it sounds in English. It means social movement. Its meaning is something like this: The radical change of career, giving up large revenues and luxury goods. Successful managers throw its full of stress and time pressure work for the sake of calm and unhurried life somewhere in the rural backwoods. For example, German Sterligov - successful Russian businessman and billionaire, owner of many enterprises. He left his old business a few years ago, and then founded the farm where he grows on organic products. In America and other countries a lot of the environmental settlements and estates.

Very nice and neat work! What kind of blade you used? It demanded whether such smooth surface the additional sanding?

Good! I write very slowly to check for possible errors in the responses are time consuming and not always I am able to respond immediately. But I hope to continue to participate in the forum and perhaps introduce you to the fact that hardly show di media. On the other hand I am interested in the lives of ordinary people in America and other countries, but I do not care about Wall Street and skyscrapers. I am particularly pleased to see the people who have lived a long life and they can now freely engage in their favorite art. My grandfather lived a long life and almost until the age of 80 years (as long as it allowed health), continued to create different things: chests, wooden shovel for snow removal, he repaired furniture and shoes. He did not do it for earning couple cents, but for that would benefit and joy to people.
