  5. This puzzle took a couple of months for a couple of hours each evening, approximately.
  6. Thanks! Honestly, I do not know. The fashion for calculating IQ came to us not so long ago, only about 15-20 years ago. I had already graduated from university by then.
  7. Thanks, I forgot about this simple method.
  8. I and my customer really liked the picture of the Russian artist Andrei Shishkin "Gamblers". I contacted the author and received his permission to make this wooden jigsaw puzzle. The result seems to be interesting. For figures, I applied the theme of playing cards of different styles and eras. You can visit the artist’s website and see many other paintings https://a-shishkin.ru/ I pasted 2 parts of the picture onto a plywood sheet. The middle will be cut two layers together. My plaing cards patterns: Two parts of the picture are precisely calibrated according to the marking and fixed together with nails. This is a couple of characters from the paintings of Andrei Shishkin:
  9. Wonderful sleigh parade!
  10. These key holders look very advantageous due to the volume. Did you use a router?
  11. Yeah ... It turns out that it is so difficult in your country. May I ask a question off topic? I heard that in the USA it is forbidden to grow fruits and vegetables on a site near the house. That residents can only look after the lawn, plant flowers and trees. But if a person wants to grow environmentally friendly vegetables and fruits near the house, then problems with the law or neighbors are possible. How true is this? Or is it gossip?
  12. Surprisingly, not one speaks of stove heating with wood. Is it so expensive in the USA? In my opinion, firewood is a renewable natural resource, unlike gas and electricity. The only drawback is that a wood-burning stove requires more check-in supervision than unlike automatic gas and electric systems. Although modern stoves and long burning fireplaces for a long time do not require human intervention.
  13. Fine work! When I see something like this, I want to push my puzzles away.
  14. This is a very impressive work! I like this meticulous finishing.
  15. Well done! Success to your store.
  16. I glad to see you too!
  17. Thanks! Marg, you are very careful. Indeed, I have written little over the past year. For some reason I did not have inspiration for publications. Perhaps the muse of literature was on vacation.
  18. I thank everyone for their good grades! Ralpf, I create templates myself, using painting or photo, sometimes I draw by hand. This is another puzzle photo below: I use the FD Superior puzzle blades, it seems 3/0.
  19. I used for this jigsaw puzzle a poster "Tategoto" by artist Haruyo Morita. "Tategoto" is translated from Japanese means "harp", that is, a stringed musical instrument. Size - 42x28 cm 300 pieces
  20. Thank you

I have not looked at the forum for a long time and therefore I saw a lot of new wonderful works. But I want to admit that yours is the best! Let this drawing not the most difficult, but its simplicity touches strings of the soul! Great job!
  23. The first photo is easily recognizable characters - dog-astronauts of USSR, Belka (Squirrel) and Strelka (Arrow). Very nice!
  24. My next puzzle was made from a photo of the T-90 tank. I thought of making figurals in the form of a parade of tanks and other armored vehicles from the early 20th century to the 21st century. I guess I should have added the very first tank, painted by Leonardo da Vinci. I forgot! Here you can see: * Mark I Male, United Kingdom * Schneider R-16 and Renault, France * M3A1 Stewart, USA * King tank by designer Lebedenko with huge bicycle wheels, Russia * and other tanks, armored personnel carriers, self-propelled guns. In addition, at the request of the customer, I drew several silhouettes of tanks from one computer game. I selected the figurals by a water stain. 18*11.5" 582 parts I reflected some photos of the back side of the puzzle that you could read the text. All the silhouettes I made on one scale, so you can correlate the real dimensions of these machines.
