Hi John. I find that dipping gets the sanding sealer in all the frets, especially the tiny ones.

Good question. To each his own way of finishing. It seems that the finish is harder with a little more shine.

The pattern is by Jacob Fowler and found in the book "Woodworker's Pattern Book". The wood is Cherry 3/8" x 7 1/2" x 7 1/2" and backed with Baltic Birch plywood 3/8" x 8" x 8" stained black. It was cut on the Pegas Scroll Saw using Pegas #1 MGT blades. The finish is one dip in diluted Shellac and three coats Minwax spray Lacquer Clear Satin. Comments welcome.

Not sure, but I think so. The Pegas Chuck Head Set fits both the DeWalt and Delta.

Not quite sure what you mean. The blade should slip in between the set on the left side and the T screw on the right. When in place, just tighten the T screw.

I purchased the 50th Anniversary Plaque from Sue Mey. A friend will have their 25th. He is my age, so I doubt they will reach 50. I modified the pattern to 25th rather than 50; did not do the relief, and added a backer. This was cut on a Pegas using #1 and #3 MGT blades. The top is 1/4" Baltic Birch plywood approximately 8" square. The bottom is 3/8" Baltic Birch plywood stained with Samen Raspberry stain. I used 3/8" because of the coin and saw tooth hanger. The finish is one dipping in diluted Shellac and 3 coats MinWax spray Lacquer Clear Satin. Comments welcome.
