  1. Rolf, I think you are referring to the Emerald Ash Borer which is devastating Ash in many areas. Back when we lived in MN (10 years ago), it was just entering our area.
  2. I order from Mike's Workshop owned now by The Wooden Teddy Bear. Shipping is $2.95.
  3. I use Ash for specific projects. My latest project with Ask is the Sparrow Hawk. The base is Walnut.
  4. Very nice cutting.
  5. I am also sorry for your loss. The cut is a great likeness.
  6. That would freak me out too, Marge.
  7. Very well done. You didn't loose the touch.
  8. Very well done, Paul. I like the addition of the base.
  9. Welcome to the forum from TN.
  10. I use a Mac Mop on almost every project.
  11. You can relief cut must anything. I made a box with a heart relief cut on the lid. (Wish I had the picture) Much like inlay, you set the blade at an angle based on the blade and thickness of the wood. When the cut is completed, you push the object up and glued in place. I know this is a simple explanation. I am sure others will chime in.
  12. Some time ago, I displayed my Miniature Birdhouse Ornaments on a wrought iron twig tree display. The manufacturer closed their doors and finally someone started listing them again. They will only sell wholesale, so we decided to stock them at ArtCrafters. A great way to display your miniature birdhouse ornaments at craft fairs. If interested, message me.

  14. I saw that pattern in SWWC. I really like the contrast with the white. I may try that and stain white with Samen stain.
  15. Welcome to the forum from TN. WOW starting with a portrait and spiral blades. Show some of your work.
  16. Welcome to the forum from Dayton, TN. We must be neighbors.
  17. Welcome to the forum from TN. What Paul says is very true. I also have an EX21 and it is my go to saw.
  18. I bought from Sloan's in TN.
  19. This is the one I bought from Klingspor. I bought one eight years ago and finally replaced it earlier this year. Only $40. http://www.woodworkingshop.com/product/mm07204/
  20. Welcome to the forum from TN. Looking forward to seeing some of your patterns.
  21. Very well done. I like the rounded edges. That brought back memories. I made that one several years ago.

  23. Thanks for all the nice comments.
