This pattern is by Jacob Fowler and found in the book "Woodworkers Pattern Book". He called it the 'Delicate Doe", but I renamed it the "Delicate Fawn" because we have a visit about once a week from a fawn just like this one. I enlarged the pattern by 40% to fit an 11" x 14" frame. I used 1/4" Baltic Birch plywood and FD UR #1 blades. The backing is black mat board. I framed it at ArtCrafters using Acrylic rather than glass. Comments welcome.

The pattern is by Sheila Landry and purchased from her website. I used 1/2" Aspen approximately 8" x 8" and FD UR #1 blades. This one took hours to cut. I didn't count the frets, but it mush be over 200. Comments welcome.

I did the smaller ones, but had to replace a battery. The replacement cost as much as the clock.

Each year I donate a project to the local hospital's golf tournament. I saw this on Steve Good's site and said this is the one. I don't like making mini clocks because of the batteries. This one is 2 3/4" and uses AAA batteries. The upright is 3/4" Hard Maple and the base is 1/2" Poplar. I used FD UR #3 and #5 blades. The finish is two coats of spray Shellac. Comments welcome.
