    As said many times, buy the best within your budget. I have a DeWalt I used and still use for 10 years. My go to saw is an EX21.

    Sounds like you are trying to follow the pattern exactly. With puzzle patterns, you don't need to be on the line like in other work. If the blade starts to stray, just continue ntil you are back on the line. The puzzle will work and no one will notice.

    Never thought about it. I use contact paper and the pattern goes on to fit the wood. No problems with the contact paper.

    Hey Don, you need to stop at ArtCrafters. My wife is into card making and she has card stock on most any color.

    I buy the Shellac and alcohol in cans by the quart and mix 50%.

    That is my go to process. I call it a sanding sealer using Shellac diluted 50% with denatured alcohol. On puzzle pieces, after a dip and dry, buff with a Mac Mop and a second dip and dry.

    Thanks Rob. Thimbles would work great. The selves are between 1 3/4" to 2 1/4" high.

    I keep the good pattern side to the left of the blade and cut pushing the wood counter clockwise. I guess this makes the blade go clockwise.

    I used the 50% BLO and Mineral Spirits for dipping. I now use 50% Shellac and Denatured Alcohol.
