  1. Including the name makes it very special.
  2. A wonderful work on that tray. The work is just right.
  3. It always pays to do the right thing. Maybe not with money, but a good feeling.
  4. Wonderful cutting, Marg. Bobby, a great pattern.
  5. Well done on those portraits.
  6. Well done, John. No words necessary.
  7. Thanks, Jeff. That would be very hard to imagine!
  8. Very well done. Two for the work of one.
  9. Thanks Ralph. There are three large cut out areas. When cut, I taped them back in place for stability.
  10. Thanks, Steve. Wow eight wives! I guess I would look like that too.
  11. Last week we watched an episode of 'Have Gun - Will Travel' in which Quanah Parker was a character. I knew he wasn't fictional, so I looked him up. I just had to do this portrait. The pattern is by Gary Browning and found in his book, "Wild West Scroll Saw Portraits". I enlarged the pattern by 65% to fit an 11" x 14" frame. I used 1/4" Baltic Birch plywood and backed with a black mat board. In framing, I used Acrylite, a framing quality plastic. The blades used were FD New Spiral #1 and there are two coats of spray Shellac. Comments welcome.
  12. Also been there done that. One time I was making a Steve Good Valentine pattern. Got both pieces finished and glued the front piece to the back piece with the lettering backwards. Dianne still has it on her dresser.
  13. I use FD Polar #5 on my free standing puzzles.
  14. Very well done, Jerry. Looks great with the corian.
  15. Very well done on both the pattern and cutting.
  16. I saw that on the other forum. I like it a lot.
  17. Well done, Tim. I like the rustic look.
  18. Thanks Dan and yes you have the talent too!
  19. Thanks for all the nice comments. The Ash was perfect for this project.
  20. Thanks for all the nice comments.
  21. Thanks for all the nice comments. My wife doesn't like all the traipsing from the shop into the house. Taping, cutting, taping, cutting, and finally sanding.
  22. Thanks, but not real busy. I can complete one in about 20 minutes.
  23. Hopefully it will be a Doberman puzzle!
