  1. Also been there done that. One time I was making a Steve Good Valentine pattern. Got both pieces finished and glued the front piece to the back piece with the lettering backwards. Dianne still has it on her dresser.
  2. I use FD Polar #5 on my free standing puzzles.
  3. Very well done, Jerry. Looks great with the corian.
  4. Very well done on both the pattern and cutting.
  5. I saw that on the other forum. I like it a lot.
  6. Well done, Tim. I like the rustic look.
  7. Thanks Dan and yes you have the talent too!
  8. Thanks for all the nice comments. The Ash was perfect for this project.
  9. Thanks for all the nice comments.
  10. Thanks for all the nice comments. My wife doesn't like all the traipsing from the shop into the house. Taping, cutting, taping, cutting, and finally sanding.
  11. Thanks, but not real busy. I can complete one in about 20 minutes.
  12. Hopefully it will be a Doberman puzzle!
  13. Back in January, I made an Air Plant Holder. Last week a customer of ArtCrafters bought the item. Today she sent me a picture showing the holder filled with air plants. Nice to see an item in use.
  14. Thanks Melanie. Glad to help if you decide to make these.
  15. Thanks Melanie. Stop by the store sometime.
  16. Thanks all for the nice comments.
  17. Thanks Steve. They are fun and easy to make.
  18. Frank, I don't think there are any compound cut Miniature Birdhouse Ornaments in the library. My first set came from a magazine, CWWC May 2011.
  19. Thanks Paul. I think my favorite is the butterfly.
  20. Thanks Jim. I made some without feathers some time back. The feathers really add to the presentation.
  21. Thanks Jim. Maybe use something different than Eastern White Cedar next time.
  22. Thanks Roly. The birds are always cut from scraps. The birdhouses whatever I have in stock.
  23. Thanks Roly. Using the spiral blades and stack cutting the feathers made the cutting easy.
  24. I finished four of these this weekend. The patterns are by Diana Thompson and purchased from her website. I used Eastern White Cedar and Eastern Red Cedar. I found that the Eastern White Cedar was a little too soft. I used FD Polar #5 and #9 blades. This finish was two dips in sanding sealer. I have now made over 200 of these. Comments welcome.
