Thanks for the nice comments. I also received a very nice comment on Facebook from Sue Mey. If you try and make them, there is a weak spot where the upright fits into the base. Be sure and not force together.
The pattern is by Sue Mey and found in the current issue of SWWC. I used 1/2" Hard Maple for the top and upright and 1 1/4" Walnut for the base. The blade used for all interior cuts was FD UR #3. The finish was 50% BLO and two coats of spray Polyurethane. The nice part was all the wood was just scraps. Comments welcome.
