  1. I went to the SWWC show two years ago and plan on going next year. Sloan's had a show, but the was quite some time ago. I have been thinking about a juried scroll saw show at our store, Artcrafters. That may be a year away.
  2. Well done on both, Jim. Yes, God's grace is sufficient.
  3. Paper cutting designs are sooo delicate. Turning that into a fretwork is amazing. Beautiful work of art.
  4. How cute is that, Roly! Great cutting.
  5. Very well done on a delicate project.
  6. Very nice cutting.
  7. Thanks for the comments. Don, happy you like the addition of the how to's. We are always here to help.

  12. Jay, when I said northern MN, more like north central MN. St Cloud to be exact, but still closer than TN.
  13. Well done, Terry.
  14. I could not survive 110 degrees. Our days of 90 plus is hard on this body. Jay, that is a beautiful shop. Reminds me of the cabin in northern MN.
  15. Thanks for all the nice comments. Len, I will not attend the auction. I am curious, but leave it up to them.
  16. I use 1/4" Baltic Birch plywood for all my portraits. Also both Spiral and Flat blades depending on the application.
  17. Thanks, Paul. It is a worthy cause for the local hospital.
  18. I didn't try, DW, but it looks like it can fit. May have to give it a try.
  19. Thanks all for the nice comments.
  20. I made this on Monday, August 15th. Something I do each year is donate an item to the Rhea Medical Healthcare Foundation Golf Tournament. They use it as an auction or prize. The pattern is by Steve Good. I used 1/2" Cherry for the upright and 1" Maple for the base. The Maple was a throw away from the local Lazy Boy manufacturer. I used FD UR #3 and FD Polar #5. The finish is one coat of 50% BLO and two coats of spray Shellac. It is approximately 9" high ad 10" long. Comments welcome.
  21. I also ordered from Mike's Workshop recently with no problems.
  22. Welcome to the forum from TN. I hope you got your answers.
  23. As a side note, five sold this week at our store, ArtCrafters.
  24. Welcome to the forum from TN. A great looking build.
  25. Very well done, Paul. Who made the pattern?
