  1. Well done, Terry.
  2. I could not survive 110 degrees. Our days of 90 plus is hard on this body. Jay, that is a beautiful shop. Reminds me of the cabin in northern MN.
  3. Thanks for all the nice comments. Len, I will not attend the auction. I am curious, but leave it up to them.
  4. I use 1/4" Baltic Birch plywood for all my portraits. Also both Spiral and Flat blades depending on the application.
  5. Thanks, Paul. It is a worthy cause for the local hospital.
  6. I didn't try, DW, but it looks like it can fit. May have to give it a try.
  7. Thanks all for the nice comments.
  8. I made this on Monday, August 15th. Something I do each year is donate an item to the Rhea Medical Healthcare Foundation Golf Tournament. They use it as an auction or prize. The pattern is by Steve Good. I used 1/2" Cherry for the upright and 1" Maple for the base. The Maple was a throw away from the local Lazy Boy manufacturer. I used FD UR #3 and FD Polar #5. The finish is one coat of 50% BLO and two coats of spray Shellac. It is approximately 9" high ad 10" long. Comments welcome.
  9. I also ordered from Mike's Workshop recently with no problems.

  18. I got mine from Seyco. Ray was very helpful.
  19. Well done on both the project and frame.
  20. As a framing shop, we carry UV protection glass. In the industry it is called Conservation Glass both clear and reflection control. A particular side should face the artwork. The edge of the glass should be labeled.
  21. Very nice cutting, Jerry. I am sure she will like it.
  22. Congrats on the new tool. This should speed up your process.
  23. On all custom orders at ArtCrafters, we require 50% down and the balance when picked up. No exceptions. If interested, ur store website is ArtCraftersDayton.com.
  24. Excellent, Tim. Sometimes overlays look even better than inlays.
  25. John, that is amazing. I can't imagine the time. How long did it take to complete?
