  1. Thanks, Jim and Steve. They are fun to cut. I really enjoy compound cutting. Fun seeing what falls out after cutting.
  2. As mentioned sometime back, about two weeks ago, someone purchased all 16, so the tree was empty. I made four last week and now four the week. The woods used are Maple for three with Walnut birds and Walnut with Aspen birds. The Maple must have had insect damage, look at the second birdhouse. This was a surprise when taking the compound cuts apart, but I still like the effect. The pattern is by Diana Thompson and found in CWWC May 2011. Comments wellcome.
  3. I finally finished the third Dream Catcher. An artist at ArtCrafters will have all three for sale at a pow wow here in Dayton. This Bear Dream Catcher is made from 1/2" Ash approximately 8" in diameter. the feathers are 1/4" Holly and 1/8" Bloodwood. I stack cut the feathers to make cutting easier. The pattern is by Sue Mey and found in CWWC May 2012. I used FD UR #3 blades and 50% BLO for a finish. Comments welcome. Sorry something happened when I opened and it posted in the Intarsia section. This is not intarsia obviously. It would be appreciated if an admin moved the thread.

  7. One of my first purchases (after the DeWalt) was a Mac Mop. I have had it for years and it is my finishing sander on every project.
  8. Once cleaned, use a paste wax to keep it like new.
  9. Welcome to the forum from TN, Debi. I had the same experience. I bought a Hitachi from Lowe's and returned it within a week. I bought a DeWalt and a happy scroller for years. I now have both the DeWalt and EX21. Happy Scrolling.
  10. Very well done, Tony. I use my EX 21 almost exclusively.

  21. Great work on that. Looks like it took a long time to complete.
  22. Great pattern, Russell. Kevin, you sure did great on that one. With all that work a break is needed.
  23. Well done, Dick. Looks like you got the spirals down pat. Projects like that are perfect for spirals.
