having a dust collector is a great way to keep dust out of harms way.
Having a good dust mask is also a good idea.

you can't really go wrong with an Excalibur scroll saw. I think most people would say they are in the league of better scroll saws.

I think Zen Scroller made a very good post about hands free magnifiers and how they can eliminate the need for goggles.

I think it is a good idea to wear a dust mask.
Keeping dust out of the workshop is also important.
I use an air filtration system to keep small particles out, and a dust collector next to my scroll saw.
