  1. Thank you, everyone. I live by an Air Force base, hence the AF logo. I have them for other services, just not cut yet. Didn't count the scallops, but there weren't as many as it seemed. (Not so)protip: It's much easier to cut half of each scallop, back off, then cut half the next in line, then go the other direction and clean up the other sides. It's the only way I was able to keep it as clean as I did. Definitely be stack cutting these next time.
  2. Thank you, everyone. I didn't think those scallops would be fun. I wasn't wrong.
  3. 1/2" pine with 1/4 birch plywood backer. Took a lot longer than I thought it would. Might make the next one with red resin instead of a backer. Steve Good pattern.
  4. Made this a few weeks ago. Waiting for the right buyer. 1/4 birch plywood backer and 1/2 pine foreground.
  5. Love these patterns. I've already printed both of these out to cut this weekend. Also looking for Addams Family patterns.
  6. Thank you all for the kind words. I should have given more info on this piece. It's about 15 inches tall and about 10 wide. Not sure what type of wood, but it's really soft. The guy at the sawmill gave me a few pieces like this that he can't use because of the knot. The pattern is from arpop. If it's not against the rules, I can post the pattern in the pattern section here. Also, I'm in southern Illinois in a small town called Mascoutah.
  7. Found you guys in a search for scrolling forums. I started using scroll saws in shop class in high school and fell out of it for a lot of years after graduation. My former boss did intarsia patterns and I remembered how much I enjoyed doing it, so I bought a saw about a month ago. Here is the most recent project I finished for another previous boss.
