  4. I used a SawBird Ultra 3R & 5R I stack cut four 1/8th inch BB plywood. The wife is currently oiling three of them and painting the fourth. Not sure whether to frame or to just hang yet. Sent Jo a pic of project yesterday and here is her response: " Oh my gosh Janice!! He certainly did!! Amazing! Please tell him I love it and am very impressed!! " Once we are out of a threat a mail strike, will send her one. Thanks to all for the great comments :) Jeff

  6. Saw this finished project by Jo Chorny in Germany on Pinterest and was intrigued (attached thumbnail). Contacted her and got her permission to cut it from the picture. Finally got a day off, so cut it this afternoon.

  9. Worked from the center out, cut the outline last (50 minutes for one cut). Stack cut four, so not sure what or how will finish it. But as always, the wife gets the bottom one to paint. Will post some sample pics of oiled vs painted works when cutting, living and working quit getting in the way! Thanks all for the great comments! Jeff

  11. I do all my work in the basement, always have. I bought a small dust control system which hangs from the ceiling at Canadian Tire which has a double filter system and keep the door to the "shop" closed. Seems to do the trick. Jeff

  23. I found the purple heart one of the hardest woods to cut.
  24. My one true weakness in patterns is crosses. Very nice job on all three. I love working with padauk but will not touch purple heart, you are a brave man!
