    What I buy is 3/16 not 1/8. Also I can't get a 11X14 out of a 12X12 sheet. There is a lot of waste on 12X12.

    OOPS! I said I bought 4X8' but should have said 2X4'. Old age does that.

    Sometimes it's labeled Birch plywood. (Not Baltic Birch, just Birch ply) Sometimes labeled underlayment. I find mine in the areas where Poplar and Oak is found in various lengths. 1/4" Baltic Birch is 4 or 5 ply. The 3/16" is 3 ply. Even so it cuts nicely, using a #1 Pegas MG blade I found little tear out on back and finishes well. Results for others may vary.

    I guess that's why I buy 3/16" underlayment for real cheap. 4X8 about $12. I can afford to waste it. Surface looks just like the pricey stuff from Woodcraft.

    WOW! I love that. When I was 16 I had a 1938 knuckle head Harley. A real beater but lots of fun!
