  1. ACE is the place. Kevin already gave the answer. I even replaced the knobs on the blade holders. I just like the feel of the round knobs,
  2. Lots of ladies in the family!
  3. The foot switch that I use has only one cord. The end of the cord has a combination male and female connector. I don't have a photo but the cord plugs into the wall socket and the saw plugs into the the female receptacle of the foot switch cord. I guess this does sound a little confusing. I'll try to get a photo later. I have no Idea where I got the switch from. Over the years I accumulated a bunch of foot switches.
  4. Ray this is the drafting stool I use. Bought it on Amazon.I deliberately did not want a back rest as I lean into my work. My vision won't permit me to lean back and scroll. The seat is extremely comfortable. It is 16" wide. Perfect for a big butt. It is adjustable so I can use it on both my lathe and saw. I have three. One in the scroll shop and two in my clock shop. They are like what you would find in a Dr's examining room.
  5. Brenda aka Foxfold started something with her font. I just made these two and need to make six more.
  6. That looks great! I can't imagine doing that with one hand. I have enough trouble with two hands.
  7. Lots of great projects. You are truly busy.
  8. It's like Chicago politics, "vote early and vote often." "change blades early and change blades often." They are cheaper than ruining a project as if I had no experience.
  9. Great pattern and the curly maple is gorgeous!
  10. Anything that is good can be made gooder. Hy hawk is a 220VS Ultra so I have no qualms cutting or drilling on my Hawk. I just put a tray on the front of it. The tray is from HF. It will stay with the magnets mounted on the back of it but I don't want it moving so I drilled the frame and used a couple of 10-24 to mount it. The Hawk frame is very sturdy steel. I don't recommend using HF drill bits. I would not hesitate cutting the legs but would rather use shelf legs from Bushton f they were reasonable.
  11. Welcome Al. Consider this home. We're glad to have you here!
  12. You have done a beautiful job of cutting a great pattern.
  13. But I liked watching it. Thanks!
  14. That's a whole lot of great cutting and the basket is beautiful.
  15. I have never watched Star Trek but the cutting is great. I particularly appreciate "God Bless America."
  16. Welcome to the Village David. You've found a great place to land.
  17. You have done a beautiful job of cutting.
  18. Dynamite! Those are really clever and nicely made. Someone is going to enjoy them.
  19. Yep Ray, they know me well. I'm in there a couple times a week. I have 2 HD and Lowes nearby but I'm only buying onesies and tuesies so ACE is very handy.
  20. ACE hardware is only 3 blocks from me. Whoopee!
  21. Handsome young man! Your cutting is great too.
  22. You are a man of inexhaustible talent!
  23. Great cutting, both the dragon and the basket.
