    Your workspace looks great! It looks very comfortable. My shop is a 8X14 foot room partitioned off inside the garage. That leaves 1/2 of the garage for her car along with room for her snow shovels. Sometimes I think I'm too good for that lady.

    You did a beautiful job. I like it. In 1964 when my wife had our first child she, being Canadian, went to a department store to purchase napkins (diapers). She was sent up to housewares. There when they showed her napkins she said "No, those are called serviettes." She has since learned how to speak as an American! I also wondered whether one was purchasing plywood or patterns. I will have to order some patterns.

    I really like nostalgic rural themes. Your cutting is exactly that. Very nice!

    I'll have to try the Weldbond. Thinking about Wayne using a broken blade for applying glue it makes sense. I use a toothpick but the saw blade having teeth it will pick up more glue than a toothpick.

    My subscription is up for renewal. I won't be renewing. Magazines tend to pile up and. I prefer to purchase patterns. There also so many kind pattern designers here that are generous with their designs. I have more patterns that I can cut in my lifetime.

    Looking at their web site there is very little information with just a couple of photos which do not show detail. Neither does the site explain why they are superior to the regular Hawk clamps. If I see things that are significant improvement over what I have now I often purchase them. Significant improvement is the key. Always like to hear about new things.

    Has anyone heard or used these blade clamps? More specifically has anyone used them on a Hawk? What is your experience?

    Great cutting Melanie. Very smart to use different blades where applicable. Sometimes I get too lazy to change blades and just plow through with whatever blade I started with. Results are not always desirable.

    I just came from ACE hardware and purchased Titebond III. I saw the Titebond Quick and Thick but had not paid much attention to it. I'll have to go back and pick some up. I also a bottlle of Weldbond. Fairly expensive. I someone here uses it I'd like to know how it is.

    Very nice cutting. Looks impressive! I don't even like large water unless I have a life vest and I'm fishing.

    I agree John. I would also like to find a pattern. I would also not expect Ivan to hijack a pattern for anyone.

    Wow, looks like you drew a decent pattern. No I have never seen patterns for lures. If I were still a fisherman I'd love to make some.

    Don in Brooklyn (Ontario that is) kindly created this pattern for me. Dr. Joe is my wife's Chiropractor and life coach. He has done wonders for her. I wish my scrolling could do justice to the pattern. It is 17X5.5 inches. Quite large. I still need to detail it and place it on a 1/4" backer. Wood is Poplar and cut with a #5 Pegas mg blade. I will need to put a final finish on it and mount a couple of hangers.

    The silhouette would be easy but how to attach the napkins is the mystery for me.. Would be worth purchasing one just to see how it is made.

    Great cutting. I've been a rail-fan for many years so the locomotive really appeals to me. All three are nice.

    Yup, a gas furnace would work well except that a gas tap is at the other end of our home.I've gotten along with a small electric heater for years and I can do so again. I liked the idea of a hanging heater and not having to trip over or around a heater on the floor. I'll not purchase another heater as who knows how long I'll be using my shop. I can hang my milk house heater which works. Just DO NOT BUY A DIMPLEX heater!

    WOW! My wife would love that! I'd love to have a pattern. Not many things my wife would ooooh and aaaah over. But she would at that.

    Rolf that is a gorgeous building. It does not deserve to be called a shed. Thanks for posting! I love it. Don't know what was wrong with the left hand. I use mine for everything. :>)

    My shop is only 112 sq ft. I have one outside wall, one common with the kitchen and two walls common with the garage interior. In even zero weather, which is rare, my shop never gets below 45 degrees. However, I like it warm. I purchased a 220V 30 amp heater which is supposed to heat a single car garage efficiently. That is what they say. The heater is a Dimplex brand and is a piece of crap. I installed it this past spring and have now had a chance to use it. Very inefficient. I does not have high and low settings just a rheostat. When turning it all the way up it soon goes into default. If turned up to 3/4 the heater does not run long enough to heat the shop. I can fix the problem by disassembling it and moving the internal thermostat a little further from heating coils. That will work but also be potentially dangerous if it does not shut down if over heating. I'm back to my parabolic heater which works but I don't like having to always walk around the thing. DO NOT BUY a Dimplex heater! OK, I'm done now. :>)
