  1. The spider doesn’t look as overwhelming as say the dragon or that owl or fish
  2. Wow thanks for the link. It’s a little overwhelming some of the stuff you can make. I bet the patterns are way more accurate than the one I did for the Bee. I might have to pick one and try.
  3. I got it off of Pinterest. It wasn’t the best pattern so making it all fit I had to test fit each piece and trim accordingly. I bet if I had enlarged the pattern more it would have worked better. The spacing on the tabs have to be the same width of the wood
  4. Just finished this 3D Bee. It’s not perfect but it was fun to make !
  5. Fantastic video. Thank you !
  6. I’d like to see that video. Do you have a link ?
  7. I did it like this also because with the new Pegasus bottom blade holder I’m now able to use the bottom reverse teeth on all my blades. Any added thickness to the existing table would make it so I would loose that ability
  8. Unfortunately the way the throte plate was designed with tapered walls a removable insert is very hard to make. Hopefully some day someone designs One with a 3D printer and makes it available
  9. I replaced the bottom holder with the Pegasus so I’m not really using the slot anymore
  10. Hi all I just made myself a zero clearance insert for my jet scroll saw and wanted to share with you all how I did it. The link below will take you to the video I just posted on YouTube .
  11. I have the 22” Jet saw and love it. I did replace the bottom blade holder to a Pegasus (around $40) and I can confirm the bottom teeth now engage above the table. Very smoothe and quiet saw with tuns of capacity. Jet is also a great company to deal with and definitely won’t be going the way some smaller tool companies have
  12. Thanks everyone for the advice! Just received the Pegasus bottom blade holder in the mail from your recommendation and I installed it. I am happy to report that the bottom teeth now engage the wood. Yay !! Not all of them but at least 2-3 teeth engage. I also feel that it cuts smoother now with less vibration. Now this could be my imagination because the saw was great before but the cuts seem more accurate and true now. I have been Thinking about the existing design of the bottom blade holder. Because the bottom holder is not secured in such a way as to prevent the barrel of the holder from rotating, it would cause the blade to deflect and rotate while in use... so not as accurate cut. With the Pegasus holder the blade is not able to move all below. So in theory a more accurate cut. In any case I’m happy with the purchase. I’m sticking with the top holder for the time being.
  13. Thanks everyone for the advice! Just ordered the bottom clamp from Pegasus and some Flying Dutchman blades. Well see how this works
  14. I have done the same by trying to set the blade as high as possible but it wouldn’t reach. Puzzles aren’t thick so far because I’m still practicing maybe 1/2in. How would crown tooth blades work ?
  15. Sounds to me like blade manufacturers just need to make the clamping tabs longer and then the problem would be solved. Then you could just snip off the excess depending on your saw. jist ordered a variety pack of their blades with the mixed teeth to well see how it goes
