  4. Very nice.
  5. That is a beautiful piece and the background is what makes it special. How did you do that? With a router? I am not a woodworker so I have no idea how some of these beautiful things are don. Must have required tons of sanding. By hand?
  6. Oh that's easy.. It is kneebler armstrong.
  7. You have have been busy. Your work is beautiful!
  8. Beautiful! Your angles match up so precisely. Very good.
  9. Very busy on a wonderful project. Will touch the hearts of many I'm sure.
  10. That is one good looking tool. Don't know what I would do with it but I want one!
  11. I can't imagine cutting that in four hours the assembling and finishing it. I am impressed!

  13. Both pattern and cutting are excellent!
  14. Really nice but wow!
  15. You may be right Jim, but a spindle will sit next to a 4" belt and disk sander. Also I need the smallest footprint possible because I will need a shoehorn to get it on the bench. I went with the HF sander as the store is 10 minutes from me. $149 so same price as the Wen. It will get limited use and I could get by without it but it is an impulse thing. Appreciate the advice though. I did look at the combo machines and I like the idea.
  16. At 81 I feel guilty about buying it. Don't know how long I can use it. My wife is not a spender and doesn't care what I buy. She is frugal but just says, "What ever makes you happy. " Then the guilt comes in. New year's eve we will complete 56 years of marriage. I've had it too good for too long.
  17. I have two drill presses but not a spindle sander. I really want one.
  18. I made a couple of these. Pattern posted a day ago or so. Have no idea what to with them. My wife no longer cooks and I eat out a lot. But it was something I could quickly make. I learned something. One never has enough tools. I cut them from 1/2" Oak. Cutting is easy but finishing, like sanding is a pain. I should be able to lock them together with a couple of 1" dowels and sand them to be perfectly alike. Sanding by hand? Not a chance. Now I need a spindle sander. Will it ever end?
  19. Great cutting! Nice crosses.
  20. Those look terrific! Nice cutting.
  21. Great selection! You should do very well.
  22. You did very well. Congratulations! Hopefully it will continue for you.
  23. Terrific! Makes one feel welcome!
  24. Kevin, your health is not the worth for all the work you do. I thing we need you here more than she needs you!
  25. Mr. Amazing Kevin the Fox. I think I'm getting to know who you really are. Unfortunately it's too late for me!
