  1. Nice work!
  2. Beautiful work. Love the tiny reindeer in the first ornament.
  3. Very, very nice!
  4. Glad you did so well. Lots of nice things you displayed. No wonder you did well.
  5. Wow, you have been busy!
  6. I have two Hegners, a 14" and an 18". I've bookmarked your info. Thanks.
  7. Ray pretty much summed it up!
  8. Hopefully that will get rid of the whipper snappers. Now for another hint for us old timers. When it's cold outside my shop can get as cold as 50 degrees. I can work at that temperature but not comfortably as the saws are still cold. It takes about 20 minutes for my little heater to get the shop in the 60's at which time it is nice. My wife, ever so much smarter than I, recommended finger less gloves. Cruising ebay I found gloves to be dirt cheap. I found a package of 12 for about 50 cents a pair. I'm not sure what I paid but it was so ridiculously low I could hardly believe it. They are very comfortable and allow me to saw, use the computer, my cell phone and other. I would not recommend using with a table saw or other similar equipment. They sure make scrolling a pleasure in colder temperatures.
  9. Great display of beautiful items!
  10. I was not aware that you had been here before but I'm glad you are back!
  11. I have only seen 1/2" and 1" . Far as I can tell there is no 1/4" but I could be wrong. I've made pens from 1/2" Corian. I was able to get 1/2" from a local counter top plant. I just went in and they showed me to a large saw and said help yourself to the scraps. I picked up an armful and they even cut it into 1/2" strips for pens. I did find some pure white 1" Corian on ebay for pen blanks and bought a few. Pure white is rare I think and colors are not common either. This information is worth exactly whatever you want it to be.
  12. Nice going. Congratulations!
  13. Great job of cutting, and with a spiral blade! You are the man.
  14. Very well done!
  15. Ray, looks like you have been busy doing what looks like will be a beautiful project!
  16. Kinda cool huh?
  17. Years ago at a woodworking show long before I knew what a scroll saw was I watched a Hegner rep cross out a dime leaving the outside ring and maintaining the inside figure. I just happened to see this orange machine and wondered what it was. The rep asked if I would like to see a demo and I said yes. Most amazing thing and he never even nipped his fingers. He said the saw was the best in the world because it was the only saw in which the blade went perfectly straight up and down. He was a great salesman and I was a terrific pauper. The word Hegner stuck in my mind. It was many years later that I began thinking scroll saw. I realize now there are other very good scroll saws but that demo never left my mind. I have no idea what this information is good for!
  18. Yes, they are fairly easy to cut and yet they turn out to super interesting. A wonderful combination. He has to be one of my favorite designers.
  19. Thank you. Those would make wonderful gifts!
  20. Looks terrific! Great pattern and great cutting.
  21. Those boxes are beautiful and you did an awesome job!
  22. WOW! Super cutting. It looks great. Also wonder about bamboo plywood. Sounds really interesting.
  23. Those are very nice! What size are they?
  24. Welcome to the Village Steve. Glad to have you aboard.
  25. Congratulations on the new Hegner! Several excellent machines out there. I've only tried the EX21 a PS Woods and a Hawk. All were nice to cut with but the Hegners I have are the best in my opinion. Simple engineering and virtually impossible to wear out.
