  7. While speed control is not an absolute requirement you sure will love it.
  8. I would, never try that on my lathe. I'm not brave enough. I would always be afraid it would blow up in my face. You are not only brave but extremely talented also!

  11. Would PROLIFIC work? Nothing hit or miss there!
  12. Very nice!
  13. This subject has come up before. I'm with Kevin. My Hawk never had a problem as the blade is always positioned the same. Same with my Hegners. Foolproof clamps.

  19. What everyone else said!
  20. My uncle always kept draft horses. Summers on the farm we used them to haul bales. I would be on the hay wagon stacking the bales while my cousin and hired hand tossed them up. Didn't need a tractor driver. The horses moved whenI yelled, "git" and knew to automatically stop,at the next bales. We had tremendous loads and those horses were in high heaven pulling that load. They were magnificent animals! I've always remembered those days. Unfortunately my children and grandchildren can never experience that. Makes me sad.
  21. Did you mean Mahendra in the pattern section?
  22. I would also love to see photos of your set up!
  23. I know the problems of finding various connectors that will fit. Those of you that have a small lathe can use it for resizing ABS or PVC to fit your needs. I do it often. Your system looks great.
  24. I have never had a pmg break at the top or bottom clamps on my Hegners. I keep my tension TIGHT! However my blades will break in the middle. I usually use #2/0 or #1 pmg. After cutting a while and the blade is getting dull I can almost anticipate the break. I think because the blades are thin I should back off the tension a bit. I also run the saw at fairly fast speeds.
  25. WOW! I don't know what else to say.
