  1. Great job! What are you going to do with 80 magnifiers? Lol.
  2. Thx everyone I think I will start out experimenting with tape on edges and maybe try some with hot glue too. Thank you
  3. Yeah I know luan is not great I also use hardwoods too. Sometimes I like to use luan for certain projects. This one was made from luan.I should of stack cut it.
  4. I haven't tried it yet. I plan on stack cutting luan 1/8 inch ply. What is the method of choice to hold together. My thoughts are hot glue but I figure better to ask. Thx in advance for any help.
  5. I’m sure I’m in the minority hear but I like to cut with very slow saw speed. Since doing so I rarely ever break blades. I don’t cut slow for this reason I’m just more accurate at slow speed but I noticed I can cut forever and a day without changing or breaking a blade Flying Dutchman mostly #1 and #3 UR
  6. Hmmm. I use only contact brand recommended by Kathy wise. She say only use contact brand. I find the opposite problem. Also using it on bass wood. I notice it lifts while cutting not very bad I still use it but the more detailed the more it lifts I keep scotch tape with me but it’s a PIA. But the contact shelf liner peels off a finished product very easy. I guess it’s the lesser of two evils the only way to decide would be try for yourself but it’s another option anyway. Another thing is to try heat gun but that seems to leave some glue residual behind. When I peel with no heat it doesn’t leave any glue behind. ur probably wondering why is he heating it to get it off when he’s saying it comes off very easy. I just wanted to try it to see how it would work out. I do like the shelf liner but I can’t say it doesn’t have its issues it peels up for me at times.
  7. Curious? How does the woodenvision guy get away with charging for patters of celebrities?

  9. I agree. That is a nice pattern. You did an awesome job cutting it!! Just next time use ur good eye on the border. just kidding I couldn’t resist I’m a natural born ball buster. That’s an easy fix. Beautiful work.

  11. I like the non puzzle versions. I really love this idea . Like anything else ur going to have some like one over the other or some with like both. Either way I think non puzzle cut is definitely a viable option.
  12. Nice work!! I especially like the napkin holder. Curious? when you pull out a napkin do u just get one, or do the whole bunch come out and flop all over the table like all my napkin holders? Man I wish I knew how to punctuate a sentence properly.

  25. Hey guys I use “ contact “ brand shelf liner and it works great. Don’t heat it to get it off. Not that it’s a huge problem but it will leave glue residual behind if you use heat gun to get it off. It is a little harder to pull off without heat especially if it’s delicate work. I know it comes off good without heat but I heated it cuz I was pulling It from figured veneer and if not very careful it’s easy to pull out wood fibers “tear out “. Heating it caused more of a headache leaving glue behind that I now had to carefully clean. I know a lot of you use shelf liner so Maybe this will save someone else the headache in case they get the bright idea to heat it.
