  1. Nice work and I am glad your feeling better. Sound like your back and cantankerous as ever hope it stays that way.
  2. I really like the sitting mermaid. You do awesome work!
  3. I like the drying rack Iggy. I think I will have to make one.
  4. True I forgot about hegner. Your right about getting the best. I can't spend that kind of money on a saw for a hobby. Anyway the ford and chevy statements in the eye of the beholder. I always said ford stands for fix or repair daily(LOL).
  5. Too bad this could ruin their reputation in a hurry.
  6. I think I would buy 4 Dewalt 788's and I would always have spare and not spend anymore money.
  7. A school of mermaids. Great work for one day. Your scroll saw issues fixed no need to answer just checked your update. I don't think I will buy a hawk looks like they have a quality control issue. Good luck on resolving your issues. I
  8. Nice work! I am sure your client will be happy.
  9. Love the pattern and great work on the puzzle.
  10. Two down and five to go. The box is made from curly maple and walnut the pattern is from Steve Good. I should never make things that my wife wants for gifts to relatives because they turn into a gift that keeps on giving.

    Duck

    Great looking duck!
  12. Great work!
  13. Glad I looked at the post because I was going to harbor freight this week.
  14. Awesome setup and glad to hear sales were great. Looks like you might have a great season selling your puzzles.
  15. Your desk looks like my workbench most of the time. Nice sign!
  16. Sassafras and red cedar are my favorites. I don't get sassafras very often but plenty of red cedar.
  17. Looks great! It's time to make a sale.
  18. Nice work! Great analogy on pokey and gumby.
  19. I have always wanted to stop at Frank Millers lumber just have not it is about 2 1/2 hour drive. I did order lumber from them when I taught woodworking because we were in their delivery area. I always got great looking lumber.
  20. The best wood blanks are the ones you make from scap wood or wood you buy. I would never pay for a wooden pen blank. I have never had any trouble with psi, but I do not buy in large quantities.
  21. Great choice, I have the Delta and very happy with my decision. At my woodworking club today I used an Excalibur and the Dewalt I like my delta better than either of the other saws. The Excalibur was hard to position the blade so it could be tightened, I am sure it was me not be familiar with the saw. The Dewalt I didn't like the arm holder because the Delta is real easy to use, that is about the only difference between the Dewalt and Delta saws other than color.
  22. Great looking cheese slicers! I find that is a gift that you can't make enough of. My wife wants me to have five on hand at all times. I have made around 25 so far. I have made so many that I have made a drilling jig and a tablesaw sled to cut the groove. I find a thin kerf saw blade is best for the groove.
  23. Since I didn't insulate under my slab, if I keep the doors closed and run a fan I am comfortable most of the day. It is in the nineties outside and doesn't get in the eighties until 4 or 5 in the afternoon.
  24. Awesome you finally got the dream saw. I bet the wait was worth it. Now there will be some envious people me included. Good luck and great scrolling.
  25. I have seen two hawk scroll saws on Craigslist in the last two weeks. They looked to be in great condition one was $200 and the other was $390 not bad for a $1200 dollar saw. Someone has snapped up the $200 saw.
