  1. If I only had a nickel for every time I have cut myself. Wow!! Heal fast!!
  2. Looks wonderful!!! Thank you for sharing.
  3. I have the PC saw from Lowe's also. I have noticed some side wobble with the blade before cutting, but it stays on track (providing I don't stray off line) nicely once I get going. As my first saw, I do like it, but have nothing to compare it to either. I did tons of research online and read reviews, etc. For the $$ i had at the time, the PC was the obvious choice for me. I just hope it lasts long enough for me to upgrade when I can afford a better saw.
  4. Hello and welcome from Alaska, Christian. Fabulous cutting and look forward to seeing more of your work.
  5. I had wondered about the difference also. Thanks for asking the group, Jim.

  12. Thanks for all the super comments. I keep trying to get more than 2-3 hrs a day on the saw, but seems life interferes.
  13. Hello, Here is the finished Creature of the Night, pattern by Chachi. My wife loves it and has claimed it as hers. The second is a quick little name sign I made for one of my granddaughter's BD present... only 8 more g'kids names to go, so as birthdays approach, I'll have a new one to make.
  14. Great job, Frank. Love the grenade man.
  15. Fantastic looking projects. Love seeing the different things the creative minds here at SSV make.
  16. C'mon Frank....crunchy PB is da BOMB!!! As to the question, I use an on/off foot pedal as well.
  17. Hello Jim and a hearty Alaska welcome from Anchorage. Looking forward to learning some new tips. I've only been scrolling a couple of months now, so always in 'learn' mode here at SSV.
  18. Positively incredible work. Cant imagine the patience that took to cut. Thank you for sharing.
  19. Fantastic, Peter and a nice touch with the airbrush.
  20. Fantastic cutting there, Dick. It looks fine the way you cut. Wouldn't have known if you hadn't told me.
  21. Very nice, Paul. They look so cool. Thanks for sharing.
  22. Love the contrast of the woods you used. Great job.
  23. Great job. I read that Lego blocks work also for squaring up a blade.
  24. Very nice Thomas. Bet she loves it.
  25. Kris, I scroll in a spare bedroom, it's a bit cramped and I'm still trying to get the best layout. I vacuum a lot, wear a mask, keep the door closed and have slip on shoes I only wear in that room. Hope this helps. Living in Alaska rules out a separate bldg w/o heat for the winter. Any spraying of finish or such I do in an arctic entry with the door to the house closed and the screen door open. Needless to say I have a very understanding wife and know I'm blessed.
