Its my understanding that Klingspor's Woodworking Stores carry the Pegas in stock at some of their stores be worth giving them a call. I was looking at picking one up when I was up in that area on vacation but ended up finding a used one down here in Florida.

Fellow Zombie here try some different blades if you're having to do sanding. Have never had to sand a puzzle. I use the Pegas Modified Geometry size #3. Maybe give them a try.

Anyone ever see the shipping labels but in legal size. Most of my patterns I enlarge to fit on legal paper.

They mainly break in the lower to middle area.

Posted awhile back about production cutting saw and overwhelming many said a Hegner. After some searching I found a used 22V great shape. Came with all paperwork and had the quick clamp installed already. Had to buy new bellows and upgraded to the air line kit also. All total I got about $450 in it between what I paid and parts so still have a good deal. My struggle is breaking blades which I know is a tension issue. My question is about the blade when inserting it into the top quick clamp it goes farther than the clamp you could say. Is that normal? If not is there a adjustment? Picture of what I'm trying to explain attached. I prefer to use Pegas #3 or #5 blades and have bought the smaller bottom clamp sizes for the #3 blade but still getting a lot of breaks. I've messed around with the tension watched the YouTube videos and such just struggling with blade breaks and wondering if I need to adjust something for the blade to go into the top clamp correctly. Also what's the best oil to use on it I see where it has the couple of oil areas on the main bearings you could say.

Things have been pretty busy doing shows and figured I'd share some of the newest things we've created. Me and the wife and oldest daughter all cut and we do 30+ crafts how's a year here in Florida. During the cooler months from October - April you can usually do a big 2-4 day show every weekend if you wanted to. This past weekend we did a Strawberry Fest (2day event) and it was a record weekend broke my gross sales record (4day event) by $200 so it was a great weekend and it seems things are running good and back to normal here in Florida. Just keeping up with inventory some days can be stressful while working fulltime jobs still but we're having fun and making money together as a family so it isn't to bad. Cutting so much I had to come up with a bigger drying rack for puzzles. On average we're cutting 50 puzzles a week. Thank fully the Florida sun has been out so they dry pretty quick. We did a Strawberry Fest last weekend and they asked everyone have a Strawberry related item for sale. I work at a high school and talked with one of the students in art class and she drew me a pattern for a strawberry puzzle. Turned out great and now she's drawing a few other items for me and she's happy because she's making some extra spending money. I have a Seafood Festival in May and a good friend suggested I cut some fish out so did some Google images searches for a redfish and snook and we cut them out he came up with the idea of mounting them on some wood with dowel rods and they turned out awesome. Also cut some bigger fish around 25 inches long as wall hangers and they went over well just done have any pics.

If you're on Facebook be sure to join the Facebook Group dedicated to this saw. Just search Delta 36-725 owners and it should come up. loads of little tips and tricks about that saw. Also a guy on there sells a motor upgrade kit you could call it that fixes most of the motor problems some have with the saw.

Kevin I think I will give that a try called Dewalt and they are sending a new saw and told me to just keep the old one. Do you know if there is a source to buy a rebuild kit per say for them?

If you were going to purchase a new saw for production cutting 5+ hours a day 5 days a week what would you buy. Does anyone use the Pegas saw for this type of cutting if so how is it? Dewalts seem to be wearing out on me bought a new one December 2019 and its about done already. I know they can be rebuilt but don't want it to be a yearly thing. I'd like something that I'd get 3-5 years at least of heavy operation out of before having issues.

Thank you Frank I'm about 2.5 hours from there but I travel 2 hours to Lakeland and get my lumber currently so no big difference. Do you by chance know if they have Poplar? If so how much it was a foot? Also up in that area is www.mainstreamhardwoods.com I've been up there to him once and he was great to deal with.

May go look at M22-V Hegner tomorrow. Anything I should look for other than how it sounds. Pics look like it's well taken care even they even has receipt for it from 2003. How is it to get parts if needed?

I have my items in a store locally its in a small rural town and called The Country Boutique. She charges a 25% commission on everything sold. I've had stuff in there about a month now and made a few sales nothing to write home about though. She had a Halloween event and we went over and took a scroll saw and cut little puzzles for the kids just to get our name out in the area. She does a great job promoting the stuff on social media and she also sells it online too. Everything we bring is posted to her website for people to buy for store pickup or shipping. So that aspect has been great and I think it will go good in the long run. She pays weekly through Square Payroll so I don't have to go pickup a check or anything. Get to know the other vendors because they may make things that you can make a little side cash with. Example I'm cutting out some turkey's this week and the lady does a craft night with the kids where they come in and paint them. So I'm supplying the turkeys just cut from the 1/4 birch plywood from Lowes.

For sure go laser check the Black Friday ads for the stores like Office Depot and Best Buy etc... might be able to score a good deal. Always research the toner cost for the printer also.

Been busy cutting hoping some shows get started back up and getting a few new things besides the puzzles. The crosses took off quick posted on Facebook and sold 10 just from friends who saw it. Dark one is walnut and the other is cherry finished with Danish Oi The sea turtle is one laying around that we used to test out the photo booth. Clocks are from scrap pieces of pine. Also bought a photo booth and very happy with the results in these photos.

Oh how I know that feeling. Between keeping stock for my weekly beach show and a few requests/orders we are staying busy. Thank goodness the wife cuts just as much as me if not more so it goes faster with 2. We've got 9 more shows to go before Christmas. I also sent in application for a 4 day show/festival in middle of January which has attendance of 60-80k over the 4 days so no slowing down here until February possibly.

Just moved to a new house and have setup my saws in a pre built shed with a plywood floor that came with the house we bought. Before I always had them setup on a cement floor. Being in the shed I have terrible vibration when I have 2 saws going. Saws are cutting fine and no problems. Was wondering if putting a rubber mat under them would help it. I see Tractor supply sells those heavy rubber stall mats and was thinking of using one of those under the saws? Any other thoughts?

Curious if anyone uses the WEN Dremel tool clone in their Dremel Drill Press. Planning to get the Drill Press but was hoping I could get the WEN tool since its a ton cheaper than a actual Dremel tool.

I currently have a Hawk 226 and just came across a good deal on a G4? Any major difference between the two? I see deals on Hawks all the time but first time seeing a G4 model so wasn’t sure if it was a big difference than what I got.
