  1. I am looking for a remote control for a Ridgid shop vac. Something on the line of just plug into a wall outlet and plug the shop vac into that. Any suggestions?
  2. Thank you all for the response. I have been using Flying Dutchman for a couple of years and I am happy with them.
  3. When cutting 1/4" to 1/2" Oak , Maple, Walnut etc. etc. which skip reserve blade does the best job? I realize all the different variables experience type of saw, wood, production or just a hobby. But what do you prefer Flying Dutchmen Olson or Pegas. Which is the least aggressive one? Once again thanks for the help.
  4. thank you for the quick response.
  5. It seems the only place i can find to get Olson blades reasonable is Sloans. Does any one have a different source? Thank you
  6. I will try that now. Thank you
  7. My other lap top has been updating for almost two days now. Any ideas on how to stop it? My first thought was 12 gauge. I read somewhere if you do shift F11 or something it will let you back in any ideas please help

    Hello

Hi, I am new to scroll sawing and looked around here and thought it was interesting so here I am. I currently have an entry level Porter Cable which I have used for about a year. Reading here I get the impression it is not that good of a saw and maybe I need to upgrade to Seyco , Hegner, or Hawk. It seems like people have issues with Dewalt and Delta as well. A new saw for me is not a problem in the price range. I see the Hegner 18v is priced at $1495.00 and the Seyco at $929.00 on special while the Hawk BM 20" runs $1200.00 plus shipping. I mainly am cutting fretwork so which saw would you recommend and I apologize for the war of words I may have started.
