    My workshop is my office. I use plenty of painter's tape when I'm scrollsawing, so this little project will be very useful.

    I made this crayon holder for my friend's grandson. I found the pattern in a book of woodworking projects. The truck body and trailer are made from poplar wood. I bought the wheels from the local Hobby Lobby. I painted it with acrylic craft paint and finished it with a few coats of polyurethane. And yes, he's a big fan of dinosaurs.

    I guess since I've only been scrolling for about 6 months, all of my projects are "new and beginner" but these are the very first. I cut them at a class I took at a Woodcraft store.

    This piece is my original design. It is made from poplar wood. I chose not to stain it so I covered it with about 4 coats of polyurethane. The time piece came from one of the big box craft stores. My husband has already claimed the piece for himself.

    Napkin rings made from 1/2 inch poplar and painted with acrylic paint.
