  1. Very nicely done Miran. Great idea and I really like the pattern.
  2. Great pattern and cutting. Orange is my favourite colour.
  3. Kevin, Weldbond is my go to glue it sets up quite quickly, dries clear, as Don stated I also glue to painted and stained surfaces. It does sound like yours may be a little old. Irene
  4. I’ve made some puzzles with three tiers giving it a 3D effect. I wrap the end of the three blanks together (the extra board that won’t be cut with the puzzle) or you could use a couple of bolts and nuts. Then I glue the puzzle picture on the top board. I make an extra black and white copy of the puzzle picture and draw the pieces I want to cut, I do this because I’m not good at cutting the pieces on the fly, but I want to be strategic where I cut the puzzle. Then I place the black and white copy exactly on top of the colour puzzle picture and use clear packing tape and wrap it around all the boards. It’s not a perfect solution but it works for me, I start on one side and cut toward the end with the extra board. Irene

  10. A friend of mine talked me into going with her to a sign making class. It did teach me one thing it solidifies the fact that I’d rather scroll a sign then paint a sign. I made the sign for my daughter she always thinks she’s right and darn it she usually is.
  11. I really like this. Well done.
  12. I don’t buy them with the point. But yes you can buy them that way.
  13. They might be called lath stakes. 1 1/2” wide, just under 1/2” thick and 48” long. I buy them from Home Depot in bundles of about 50. I use them for lots of projects. They use them when they mark underground lines before you dig.
  14. I love that Charlie it looks great. And I really like the design and colours in the wood.

  18. Hi Les. I didn’t make the clamp from Steve Good but this is what I use. Two survey sticks with two clamps. You can make the sticks as long or as short as you like. I have a variety of lengths. I also use a spiral blade.
  19. I’m not sure maybe illusion. It took me awhile to figure out how to make it. But now that I know it’s really quite simple. Thanks Kevin.

The first picture is the pattern on the wood before cutting. Next picture is it finished. The last picture is the original
