  12. Before you all get crazy of me with my many post in a short time I have to explain that we still have 1 and a half week vacation here And I just had my Hegner 3 weeks ago , I did some hesitation before I started my first project but my hubby just was like: Just look for a nice pattern and start. So I did........and that is when it hit me....the scroll saw fever Yes really it is like a fever. All my head is thinking is scrolling and scrolling and looking here at the forum. My kids and hubby kinda smile about it because they know when work, school etc start again that I will have lesser time so they just letting me have this fever and really are so great and lovely to take over somethings in te house that I kinda let slip a bit because of this scroll fever Now, just the other day I was reading the topic of Don McFarland about the Layered art work: And of course also watched the video of Steve Good linked in that topic. I really love watching that and though I have no experience at all my head is going like, I want to do that , I want to..... But as a beginner ...should I? Or is that a bit to high to take on just yet. Or should I just give it a try and if so how and with what because I do not have Coral draw
  13. As a woman I can relate to that hahahha. I just have my saw now for just 3 weeks and really have a bit like a scrolling fever and my hubby is going like: Well dear, if you have fun with it ..... That is what makes a good husband so I bet you are also a great one for your wife

  18. When Alex posted the Howling Wolf topic.....I just had to buy the pattern And of course as just a beginner quit hard pattern of course. BUT hey I am me and I just had to try as my third project when my second project was drying and before I could put the hooks on that one........ So I just printed the pattern and started. WHAHAHAHHA well that was easier said then done Before I was on the third layer I already broke about 7 blades, went a bit wrong here and there and really was broken because I was so concentrating on doing it right that I had to stop. BUT the next day, after I had finished my project for our dog leashes, it just kept on calling me.....do you know that feeling? So I just wanted to go on again and of course I flew through the blades I had hahahaha, had to order new ones otherwise I could not even finish it Luckily they arrived the next day so I was just jumping from joy that I could go on breaking some more This all said I finished it today and to be honest....I am quit proud at myself for how it turned out. Maybe not the very best but as my third project I am very pleased with it
