Hi, Office dept can cut the spine of the book , sometimes ask few dollars sometime they do for free…I don’t know why tese different customers service, I cut several books and they do a really good job ciao

I had a similar experience with Olson blades. I am not buying Olson anymore only FD or Pegas.

Hi, I think we could talk in terms of adding material on a surface , silhouette on backboard or removing material from a surface to highlight the images that we want to show. Maybe I am wrong but this is how I see this approach to the same issue. Ciao Angelo

Ciao, Sorry for this late reply but during the day I don't have many opportunities to follow the network. First of all thank you very much for the advice and anyway after I read your email I remembered that I have a Pegas blade pack and then I checked what you told me and clearly I immediately understood what you told me, like I said It wasn’t easy for me to understand the possible orientation I usually use FD UR # 3 or 5 and work with 3/4 thick pine, unfortunately I don't have much time to devote to this hobby and even if I don't participate much in the forum I am always amazed at what you guys are capable of doing. Hi everybody, sorry if I enter in this topic with a question that was a little off topic and perhaps obvious but looking at the photos of these blades It seems to me that they do not have a specific mounting orientation or I am wrong thank you

Kate, Ray, thank you very much for the reply. I know about the Carter stabilizer and maybe it’s the way to go , I didn’t want invest more money on the band saw but I think it will be necessary. I have the same graphics on the side of the saw and I always try to stay in that “spec”, about the “feeding “ you are absolutely right but sometimes cutting the curves I guess I am not using the correct , let’s say, feeding force. thank you again. Hi everybody, sorry to bother you with an additional question on the bandsaw issue, do you have any suggestions to “reduce” the recurrence of the blade breakages. I am using a 3/16 4 TPI to make some small boxes and I am breaking blades very often , I am following all the suggested settings but unsuccessfully. like I said sorry , if you think I am out of the topic let me know Thank you

Spirithorse: yes, I used 5 skip tooth blades , 7 reverse and I tried also 13 and I know that It is important to let the blade do the cutting but if I don't force a little bit the wood into the blade..'''there is no way to get the job done.''.... Usually I work with pine. I tried also different speeds but without big results. Rockytime: I completely agree with you, I guess , like you said, the problem is the saw. I have a WEN 3921 so like we say in Italy ...my trip began uphill...but of course I didn't know that six month ago and even if they say in the manual to stay under 1" thickness I guess they meant ...max 1/4" , BTW the light on the saw is already gone, I am waiting for a replacement. Like many other I followed the reviews on the web and ..the budget... For this reason I started this "conversation' because I wasn't sure if I was doing something wrong so given there is this forum that is really well done and full of useful information I decided to take advantage of your many years of experience instead of continuing to be "frustrated". Thank you very much for your welcome. I'm sorry to disturb you all already but I tried to search in the forum without much success. I am looking for information / advice about the fact that sometimes I like to use 3/4 to 1 "thick wood but every time it is a problem. I know this type of thickness is not ideal but it is really a problem I tried different blades and "speeds" but every time time it's a struggle. Thank you in advance. Ciao Angelo

I would like to introduce myself, I am 63 and It's ten years that I live in the states and recently , about 6 months , I started to get interested in scrolling .
