Hello all,
Here is my latest project, a pair of Leopard cubs.
Cut once again from a Bamboo chopping board using a Pegas skip tooth no3 blade.
The pattern is by Kenny Hopkins on the Scroll saw village.
Thanks for a lovely pattern Kenny, I hope I have done it justice.
Regards, Alan.
Just finished this Edmonton Oilers NHL plaque for my father. He was born in Edmonton, Alberta and came to live in the UK when he was 5 years old.
He is now in his early 90s and has been a lifelong Oilers fan. The letters and border were cut out individually then painted accordingly and glued back into place, finished with a few coats of clear lacquer.
I myself am a Colorado Avalanche fan !
Regards, Alan.
Skeleton Cat.
A pattern from the Scroll saw Workshop which I did slightly differently.
The cat is cut from a 1/4 inch Bamboo chopping board then sprayed black. To cut the skeleton I used a very fine drill for the blade entry holes then cut out each piece and painted them white.
The pieces were then carefully glued back into place and because the cat does not have a backing board the skeleton can be seen from both sides.
Happy Halloween everyone !
Regards, Alan.
