Thanks for the welcome. The rear release on the Wen 21" has 2 positions, one locks arm up or down the other lets it float. I just let it float and have no problems so far.

Only been scrolling for about 6 months. Started on a $5 garage sale Craftsman that I added pinless adapters and an aquarium air pump as a dust blower. Just recently purchased the Wen. It's like going from an old VW Beatle to a fully loaded high end Suburban.
