  1. Good idea , thanks.
  2. Does any know where I can get a pattern of a Knights Templar?
  3. I did search the pattern section but I am not sure where to find his profile. Thanks for the reply.
  4. Does anyone know where I can find Grampa`s Birch Tree pattern? I saw it a while ago and now can`t find it. I would love to cut that for my son.
  5. Wonderful, thank you very much.
  6. I have found the pattern, but it seems that Botas`s site is not operating anymore. If it OK with him, I would appreciate the pattern If it creates a problem don`t send it. Thank you so very muck for the offer.
  7. Really nice job! What type of wood did you use, it compliments the picture so well. I found the same pattern, but I think Botas isn`t doing patterns anymore. I wish I could cut it, that it would make a perfect gift for a friend in a nursing home.
  8. I would like to cut a layered Celtic knot. Is there a good source to find something like that.
  9. Very nice!
  10. Has anyone seen this pattern I would like to cut it for my son-in-law for Christmas.
  11. That is really nice. I would like to make that or something like that for my son-in-law. Is the pattern available or did you make it yourself?
  12. Thanks a lot. I thought I had looked there but I must have missed that pattern, it is perfect.
  13. Is there a clock pattern that would incorporate a tree of life?
  14. I just finished cutting that pattern and I think it will look very nice when completed. Thanks for sharing the pattern!
  15. Wow, very nice!
  16. I am pretty sure you are right. The clamp opening is not square and no matter how tight I tighten it never has even pressure on the blades. I have called the company and they are sending me new blade clamps. Thanks for the input.
  17. It is a Wen 2022 saw and it is the mechanism the pinches the blade to hold it tight.
  18. I am running into a problem with tearing up cap screws. I have to tighten them so tight that in no time at all I have replace them because they are striped out. Is that normal? I am new to scrolling and not sure what is normal and what is not. I have replaced the hex wrenches a couple of times and also have ground them off so I can use them longer. I now buy cap screws in bags of 100.
  19. I really like the lanterns, the faces are terrific! Are the patterns available?
  20. The dogs are terrific. I wish I could get as good as you are. Is the collie pattern available? I love collies and have had some. The idea for the frame is very neat.
  21. It truly is a great hobby. I can`t believe that at my age I would come across a hobby that I can work on all day long. I just started a few weeks ago but I really like to work on my projects. This group is a wonderful find!
  22. Thanks, Gene. This seems to be a great group. I am so very glad I found it. If you ever come across an easy pattern of a Collie, please let me know about it. I am just learning scroll sawing about 4 or 5 weeks into it so the patterns that I have been working on have been easy. However, I am trying to get harder patterns each time I start something new. Thanks for the welcome.
  23. What is the best book for a beginner? Maybe tips and some easier patterns. However, I am a believer that you don`t get better doing all easy things. You only improve by challenging yourself. I never realized that scroll sawing could be so relaxing and so addictive at the same time. So much fun.
  24. I agree with that reasoning.
  25. I did try that, and I also tried to call them and got no response either wat. Thanks for the tip though.
