  11. Hi, a few of the guys on a UK forum recommend; Mirka Abranet Starter Kit http://www.agwoodcare.co.uk/Item/mirka_abranet_starter_kit they say it leaves a great finish and lasts a long time, providing you use the vacuum adapter on the pad. I think having a tube fitted to the pad would hinder your control over it, but each to their own. I'm not sure, but would guess you would get it over there in the US. Gary

  16. Hi Toniho You could try this for your 'other' projects (not puzzles) - Cover the marine ply wood with white masking tape first. Then spray adhesive on your pattern and stick this to your wood. Then use sellotape / clear tape over the top. I think that using reverse blades also helps eliminate splinters When you have cut your pattern the white masking tape should peel off easily leaving no residue. I am not sure, but I think people who make puzzles use a spray varnish and cut with special blades, but I think they leave the pattern on the wood. Gary

  22. Lovely looking Kevin, alot of fine lines and a fine finish. Gary
  23. Hi Karen This is a theory, but I would say that photo type paper would be best, as it is shiny and when ever I've printed a photo, I have to be careful not to smudge the ink. Also I would have the printer set to 'best quality' as it uses more ink I think, then have the wooden blank as close to the printer and do the 'transfering' as quick as possible. A paint roller or ink roller might be good too. Hope this works, (if you try it) I think it's a great idea. Would you show some oictures if you do it please? Gary
  24. Looks great, I'm sure your grandson will love it. Gary
