Thank you everyone. The girls both loved it. I showed it to my brother in Maryland and he's going to send me more 1/4" wood.

I finally finished it. The wood was given to me two years ago by a family friend. I have no idea how long it took from start to finish. I did my wife this box in Oak two years ago. I finished it with mineral oil there is no way I'd try to do it with poly. That is what I wouldn't have the patience for. No idea what I'm going to do with it probably give it to my daughter.

Thanks. My wife told me that these put the count for crosses I've done to 65. Over the years I've done them for my brothers and sisters and given several away. The Celtic pattern can be found almost anywhere but I got it from just typing in Celtic cross. It's also on scroll saw magazine forum.

Several crosses, one from Birchbark I've done it twice now. I gave the first one to my in-laws. The Celtic ring is from the pattern Fab4 had-thanks again. The rest are just patterns I've found.
