  1. I used diamond burrs on some glass. I liked the way they work. Haven't used it on wood.
  2. When we were little we would always tell Dad, I want that! He would tell us we could get it, "When my ship comes in" I later realized my ship married me in 1991.- Cut in a piece of Oak my brother gave me, finished in mineral oil. The font is called Euphoria, I did it in Gimp 2. She loved it!
  3. I did this one for an old friend I grew up with. He's retired this fall after 30 years in the SEALS. Very proud of him-

    Oak Cross

Another Oak cross. I found the pattern on Deviant Art. The Gentleman who does the pattern(s) is Marcus Clemons, [email protected] He has several books on Amazon and Barns and Noble book store, as well as others. Two books on cross patters done for scroll saw work, snow flakes and others. There is about 130 pages of crosses in the books all designed by him. You might want to give it a look. They are only $12 I have ordered the first book on crosses so there will be several more.

    Beatles

I used a #1 skip tooth to cut it. I found going very slow doesn't work. I sped up to about 7 and had no problems. I just cut it on the saw like I do everything else. A few times it was a little jumpy and had to be careful but it came out alright, maybe doing it on a piece of wood will be better-good idea. I got the record from a co-worker it wasn't a Beatles album. If I can get some other records I'm going to try Abbey Road and a few others. There are no special colors added I used a piece of copy paper to set under it the rest I guess is just shadow, I had set it on my desk in the kitchen. I did have to be careful turning corners too but stayed on the scrap side and it came out better. The other color may also be the center, my daughter painted it black for me it was blue.
  17. Great job!
