I have gotten really interested in band saw boxes but decided to try this on the scroll saw. I glued two pieces together and cut all the pieces. I then glued it all together, four 3/4" pieces, main body, drawers etc. I had to do some sanding but was able to get it done. I found the easier way is to cut one piece at a time, two at a time are a little to thick. It's Western Red Cedar my brother gave me and mineral oil for the finish. Cedar is a little too soft for a jewelry box but it's a first try and the second I'm going to do in Walnut. The pattern is free from Carmichael workshop.com. He has several free interesting patterns. It's about 10x7 and it's a little smaller than it is supposed to be. It is going to work with my wife for her shelf in her office. I really like the smell of that wood and it comes back after the mineral oil dries.
