Finished this piece yesterday & thought I would post it here since it is a pattern of Grandpa's  U/K.  It is a most outstanding pattern.  I love all the wildlife & bird pieces that I can do.  Thanks Grandpa, for a great pattern.

I used a 1/2 in. piece of basswood, with the bark just slightly trimmed off. It really was a good wood for this

pattern. I cut the ends of it to add a rustic look to it & finished it with Tongue oil.  Thanks post-22424-0-07380200-1403654170_thumb.jpg

I finished another project right after the Falcons. It is very different & not wood. I used two 1/8 in. pieces of Acrylic for this license plate. The backer is red & of coarse the front is white. I did hand paint the cactus & the text of Yuma, Az. for a change of pace. The wife wanted this for the car, so I went to my stash of plex to make it. I did the entire piece with the # 1 spiral blade. I like using the spirals. Go visit us some time. Thanks for looking.  Take Care
