dansnow Posted December 22, 2014 Report Posted December 22, 2014 Finished the assembly of the grader this morning. I would build it again. On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd rate the plans a 7. A couple of dimensional errors and a couple areas where the drawings weren't as informative as they could have been keep it from scoring higher. As I mentioned earlier. I wouldn't recommend it for a first timer, but if you have a few toys under your belt and a love of the retro style toys, the plans package is a decent value. wombatie, lawson56, Scrolling Steve and 1 other 4 Quote

ike Posted December 23, 2014 Report Posted December 23, 2014 That is a great Grader You must have straightened out the mistakes in the plans because I couldn't see any thing wrong with it. Quote
dansnow Posted December 23, 2014 Author Report Posted December 23, 2014 Thanks folks, I appreciate the kind words. The biggest issue Ike, is in the cab area, thankfully hidden by the rear wheels. When I went to attach the frame rails they covered about 1/2 the hole drilled in the cab base block! At first I thought I had cut the block upside down, but a double check assured me I had located it correctly. I had to attach one rail and a filler block and drill that out, then attach the other side and drill it out. A pain but fixable. Quote
