Good morning to all.

Well now, I will have been a member of this formidable institute on the 9th of January. Rather than wait until this anniversary, since at my age I'll forget, I shall do this now.

This has been a year of ups and downs for me, fortunately, there have been more ups, due to the great friends I have made here, from all corners of the planet. I won't attempt to name everyone as I'd be here till next year. So in short, you have have all encouraged me to carry on rather than just giving up, which would have been very easy, the state I got into.

It is at this time I would like to thank each and everyone of you for all the help and encouragement which you have given me and to Travis and Clayton for the running of this fine ship and keeping me Sane, I use the word SANE with tongue in cheek.  .

So may I wish you all A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and A HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR.

Hey Rob, although I have only been a member of the Village for about a month or so, we have been friends for years. It's alway been a pleasure talking and joking with you. Have a Merry Christmas and a safe and sane New Year!

Hi Dan, it's good to see you back among the scrolling fraternity. You and I go back quite a bit and it's good to have a bit of fun. No sense in being miserable, no one likes a miserable old fart.   . Have a great Christmas with family and friends Dan. May 2015 better than the last one. Aw Ra Best from Scotland.

Rob, I'm glad you and your family had a great Christmas (was great to catch up with a surprise phone call from you too)

Dad and I had a very quiet Christmas by ourselves, but all hell breaks loose when my daughter and her family all turn up on new years day !!! (they couldnt get down earlier cause of work.) As we are having a late Christmas on new years day, I thought you might like an extra present yourself - so I got you a Table - some assembly required though!!! see pic.  post-2867-0-78041800-1419668568_thumb.jpg

Thank you Kieth, very thoughtful of you, and you must be psychic, (or should it be PSYCHOTIC),  . We will need a bigger table on New Years day when the family pile in to our house. No problem with assembly of the table. Whack it through the band saw, a couple of passes through the planer, cut to length on the 12" miter saw Etc.Etc.My son got a SNAP ON socket set from Santa so he can assemble it. The wife got an embroidery thingy from Santa so she can make a table cloth. I got a new spray gun so finishing isn't a problem so we should be OK.....................

B***er, there's not enough timber left for the CHAIRS. Oh!! we could make ORIGAMI chairs with the cardboard box. Yeah that'll do nicely Keith. Thanks again.    .
