The rubber bands were 24 inch long relaxed. and stretched to 42 inches. Had some power.... The gears were made out of oak. The handle and sites were out of walnut, and the rest was pine and oak. I made it for my grandson for Christmas one year. The cat and dog in the house have never been the same since. I will have to see if I can find the pictures and post them. Cool as. I'm saving my rubber bands to hold the wings to my electric powered rc glider. I have only crashed it 3 times. I have flown it 3 times too. I have flown it 3 times too. Three for three. I remember doing the same thing with RC elect gliders. Then I got someone to teach me and had lots of successful landings after that.
