Was going to say that I liked the white wood best until I realized that the white wood was paper.         Looks really great, I love detailed work.  Is it a bridge near you?

Thank you all for the flowers ,BTW that carving ,is a salvaged piece of plank off the Bridge started 31/4" x 14" x 12' long solid oak built in 1886 I think,I  ruined 3 sets  planer blade salvaging cut up solid pcs. Hard and heavy , I worked on repairing and replacing the ramps ,some years ago ,I still have some sections un redone left , there would make one hell of a battering ram , I made a carving chisel Mallet out of a chunk , very few marks on it it's that hard !

Nice looking cuttings Carl, how thick is the wood that you used 1/8" or 1/4"? When you stack cut, how many layers do you usually cut at a time? Most of my cutting is stack cut, and I usually use 1/8" stock stacked four layers thick.
