Here is a PSI "Phoenix Rising" twist pen in Antique Pewter Finish with a Bethlehem Olive Wood blank with wipe-on poly finish. Pen turning is my primary woodworking activity. I just acquired a Ryobi SC165VS Scroll Saw and am planning on adding scrolling to my woodworking activities.post-25643-0-18262500-1433594190_thumb.jpg

Hi, Pen turning takes less material anyway!

Nice job.

Our oldest is a addicted pen turner too.

Nothing wrong with doing many types of things!

Make some fishing lures while you are at it!

Thanks for your kind words and the suggestion as well. It's funny - when I was a teenager = back in the dark ages(I graduated high school in January 1962) I used to turn fishing lures at home. What were called "plugs" at the time. Then I would take a chisel and gouge out a scoop on the front for "action" and then would paint them and add hooks and an eye. I think I will indeed try turning a few lures again. Nice Idea - thanks for it.
