I choose to have the photo taken with me holding the piece so that you can see the size of it. I will be making 2 other ones, one for my son and one for my grandson as a commemorate piece of the great trip the three of us took to Washington DC together the 1st week of May, this year. This is a JGR modified pattern. I remember looking at it several times over the past few years and admiring the pattern with the thought, " I can not possibly make this one", but after cutting my Eiffel tower (3 times), and making the 2 clocks this year, I decided that I am able to cut most things I try. So this is the result of my effort here

Thanks for the nice compliments. It was an interesting one to make.  I am happy with the outcome as it is where my skill level is.. Not as good as a lot of others do, but for me,,,It works
