Here is a Steve Good pattern that my daughter asked me to make for her to give as a gift. After I got is finished, I found that I kind of liked the pattern too. I am thinking about making another one for my wife but adding a backer board behind the butterfly and giving it some color. I have a few other intarsia pieces to do first, for Christmas presents. I will not be posting them because they are of a pattern I have already done and posted earlier.

I have been wanting to cut that for my wife from some eastern red cedar or zebra wood.

It is a really quick and easy piece to cut and a decent wood choice would definitely improve this piece a lot. I  just used BB P;y because I was what I had on hand with enough width to it.
